Whats the way to become a relationship guidance counsellor?

  • I have a small organisation dedicated to the well being of my friends and any or all social connections I deem necessary to help with their relationships.

    We call ourselves "The Onto" and deal with everything from relationship issues to breakups to matchmaking even guiding a suitable line of revenge to those who feel they have been wronged.

    It's gotten to the point where I feel I have enough personal & none personal experience for it to become a viable career option.

    Having discussed this with my partner in the organisation we formulated a plan to hold "speed dating sessions" as a way to put our matchmaking skills to the test.

    My question is if I was to try and get into this industry or even start my own company, what level of qualification would I need if any?


  • Im pretty sure to be a counsellor you'd need a college degree or something - its all to do with the mind after all - why not ring your local college and have a chat with them - they might offer night classes in this area which might suit you better than going back to college and being a full time student
