Please tell me the most effective diet, and which is easy to keep....?

  • High protein, low carb, very low fat, lots of fruits, veggies and water. Basically a diabetic diet. It's easy to maintain the weight loss once you find foods that you love and cooking at home is always the best choice.


  • hi , i am not sure how much weight is it that you are looking at loosing but even if walk an hour a day you only burn 200 cal at that rate it will take you almost 70 days to loose one kg of fat, it true. . i was about a 115 kgs till about two months back, now i weigh 93 kgs. I personal was not very comfortable going to a gym because of my weight, and tired a whole lot of stupid stuff to get back into shape, with every time i failed i felt more discouraged. But you kinda do have to be motivated and to follow this program as its not a cake walk, but if you do live through it then the results are worth the pain.   • The things you need to look at when choosing a diet are mainly that you are getting enough to eat (it is not a starvation diet), the food portions are reasonable and you aren't eating the same things over and over again (variety). Once those things are in place, then the plan is good. Diets that cut out things (like carbs) are really bad for you in the long run. The diet you choose should be more of a life style change, not a temporary "fix".
